Store analytics

The Dashboard is the first page you see when you sign in. The cards across the top — visits, clicks, leads, sales, revenue — are Klixey's lightweight take on store analytics. This page explains what each number means, how often it updates, and what it covers (and doesn't).

Quick answer

Open Dashboard in the sidebar. You'll see five metric cards with small trend lines, plus a period switcher in the corner (Last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months). Sales and revenue update the moment a payment lands; traffic numbers roll up once a day.

What Klixey tracks

Five metrics summarise how your storefront is doing:

MetricWhat it counts
VisitsUnique visitors landing on any page of your store.
ClicksClicks on product cards and outbound links from your store.
LeadsEmails you've captured — typically from a lead magnet.
SalesCompleted purchases (one-time or first payment of a subscription).
RevenueTotal amount paid by customers in the period.

Each card shows the headline number, a small trend line, and a percentage change vs the prior period. Click a card or scroll down for more detail where it exists.

Where to see them

The cards live on the Dashboard — open the sidebar and click Dashboard. That's it. There's no separate analytics page right now; the dashboard is the analytics page.

Revenue lives here too

The same revenue figure also shows up on the Income dashboard, which adds filtering, sorting, and CSV export. The dashboard is the glance; Income is the deep dive.

Switching the time window

The period picker in the top-right of the dashboard switches between:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Last 12 months

Every card and every trend line redraws when you switch. At the 12-month view, the trend line collapses to weekly buckets so the chart stays readable.

How fresh the numbers are

A few things to know about timing:

  • Sales and revenue update the moment a payment goes through. Refresh the dashboard right after a sale and you'll see it.
  • Visits, clicks, and leads roll up once a day. Yesterday's numbers are the freshest you'll see for those three.

So if you launched a campaign this morning, your sales card moves in near real-time, but your visits and clicks won't reflect it until tomorrow. That's expected.

Why we don't show today's traffic live

Aggregating traffic on a daily rhythm keeps the dashboard fast and the numbers stable. We'd rather show you a number you can trust than a flickering live count.

What a brand-new store looks like

If you've just published your store, your trend lines start flat at zero and fill in as data comes in. That's not a bug — it's an empty room. Share your store URL, run a campaign, and the lines start moving.

Most creators see meaningful numbers within the first week. Don't read too much into a quiet first day or two.

Privacy

Klixey's traffic analytics are intentionally light-touch:

  • Klixey counts pages viewed and what was clicked.
  • Klixey does not store visitor IP addresses, drop third-party tracking cookies, or send your traffic data to outside analytics services.
  • All your analytics data is processed inside Klixey and only visible to you (and your teammates with the right role).

That keeps you compliant by default — your storefront doesn't need a cookie banner for our analytics, and your visitors' data isn't being passed around.

When you want deeper analytics

If you need source attribution, geography, device breakdowns, or other detailed traffic reports, Klixey doesn't have a built-in surface for that yet.

Most creators who need that level of detail add a tool like Google Analytics or Plausible to their storefront. You can drop a tracking script into your store's <head> — see SEO & social sharing for where that lives.

On the roadmap

A deeper traffic page (sources, devices, geography) is something we're considering. If it'd be useful for your business, let us know.

Who can see analytics

Like income, traffic data is gated by role:

ViewerNo — Viewers are redirected to the storefront instead
